Frequently Asked Questions

Getting started with HyperLiquid

Can I automate HyperLiquid trades from TradingView alerts?
Yes. Connect your HyperLiquid account to Autoview, then add an Autoview command to a TradingView alert or any webhook. When the alert fires, Autoview reads the command and places the order on HyperLiquid for you, with no manual step.
Which markets can I trade on HyperLiquid through Autoview?
HyperLiquid gives you on-chain perpetuals and spot markets, and Autoview can automate orders across them. Your alerts can trade those markets the same way you would place them by hand.
Can I practice on HyperLiquid Testnet before trading live?
Yes. Autoview supports a HyperLiquid Testnet connection, so you can automate it with the same commands you would use live. Testnet runs on a separate test network rather than a paper account on the main network, so you trade with test funds there, not your real balance.

HyperLiquid order types

Does Autoview support stop-loss and take-profit orders on HyperLiquid?
Yes, as trigger orders. Autoview can place a stop trigger to close a position when price moves against you, or a take-profit trigger to close it at a target price. Each one goes in as its own trigger order on HyperLiquid, rather than being attached to your entry in the same command.
Can Autoview place trailing stops on HyperLiquid?
Not currently. Trailing stops are not available for HyperLiquid through Autoview. You can use a fixed stop trigger to limit losses instead.
Can I send an entry with its stop-loss and take-profit in a single alert?
Not on HyperLiquid. Autoview does not combine an entry with attached stop-loss and take-profit legs in one HyperLiquid command. Send the entry first, then place your stop or take-profit as separate trigger orders.

Platform and security

Does Autoview run HyperLiquid in the cloud, or do I need the Chrome extension?
Both work for HyperLiquid. The cloud webhook platform runs your automation on its own, so nothing needs to stay open on your computer. If you would rather execute on your own device, the Chrome extension can run HyperLiquid too.
How does Autoview keep my HyperLiquid credentials secure?
You connect with your HyperLiquid wallet secret key, and optionally a public address for API wallets, and Autoview stores them encrypted. They are used only to sign and place the orders you trigger, and they are never written into your alerts.
