1.1 Welcome and Course Overview
Hello everyone! My name is Bryan Benner, and I'm excited to be your instructor for this Pinescript for Absolute Beginners course. As a seasoned trader and programmer, my goal is to help you unlock the potential of Pinescript and enhance your trading strategies.
I began trading cryptocurrencies in 2013 and have doing it daily every since. I started working with Pinscript when it was released and have kept up-to-date on every version since. My prgogramming journey began in 2008 when I went to college to become a programming analyst. I later switched to New Media Web Design and graduated from the program. I put myself through college by building websites and providing SEO solutions to local businesses.
In addition to trading and programming, I'm passionate about helping people automate their Tradingview strategies with my other tool called Autoview. I believe that teaching someone to create their own custom trading strategies is like the old "give a human a fish, and they will eat for a day, teach a human to fish and they will eat for a lifetime", only on steroids. Control your money, control your life.
In this course, we'll cover the basics of Pinescript, from setting up your environment tocreating custom indicators, alerts, and more. By the end of the course, you'll have a solid foundation in Pinescript, ready to tackle more advanced concepts in future courses.
