The quick answer is No.
The Autoview extension runs locally, which means that it requires both Google Chrome and an active internet connection to operate. As a result, it cannot place orders 24/7 if the computer is shut down or disconnected from the internet.
You can however still lock your computer and/or configure Chrome to run apps in the background by navigating to the Chrome Settings -> Advanced Settings, scrolling down to the System section and ticking off the box “Continue running background apps when Google Chrome is closed”.
An alternative option is to purchase a Virtual Private Server (VPS) to run Autoview. A VPS is a remote server that is always connected to the internet and can run software applications, including Autoview, 24/7. By using a VPS, traders can ensure that Autoview continues to place orders even if their computer shuts down or disconnects from the internet.
Despite the availability of VPS options, Autoview remains decentralized and does not offer an offline ability. The decentralized approach ensures that traders can have complete control over their trades and security. Autoview users can rest assured that their exchange API keys and other sensitive information remain secure.
